  • Great Concept, Difficult to Navigate

    By Jenzie H. (Pcmac user)

There really needs to be a search option because what if someone has items I’m specifically seeking but is just a little beyond the window of my search? What if that specific item I’m looking for is along my work or other errands commute? A maps view of items would be great, or even categorization further than Food & Non-Food. Heck, maybe even an alert option for items someone is searching for would be great for maybe those people with families who really need items (and those of us ridding of them!). Could you imagine how many more people this app would help if so? This app is not simple and straightforward for seeking items, so I seldomly use it for seeking anything out. I just hope people want the things I post. Please improve this app’s capabilities. Thank you.
  • Awesome concept however it automatically shares your location when you post an ad

By Sarah grace 00 (Pcmac user)

Awesome concept, I love it because just last night I wasn’t allowed to sell an unopened Haakaa (breast pump) for $5 on FB. So I just wanted to give it away. That being said, I also have organic lactation tea that’s factory sealed as well that I couldn’t sell on FB. When I agreed to share my location (to locate others around me) it said “we’ll never share your location”, great! Because I wouldn’t have signed up if it did because obviously I have kids. After I posted my first ad, it dropped a pin right somewhat near the location of my house! Great looking out for the privacy of your users and customers! Deleted ad, and uninstalling! Never again will I be using this ap nor will I recommend it to anyone!!
  • Olio app has good intentions

    By MsMoen (Pcmac user)

This app is such a wonderful idea: donate your unused food to somebody that needs it, also a handy easy tool to get some help before your payday, with some meal you would actually eat. There’s more to it, obviously. Only problem is that app and website are frozen sometimes. I think it’s because they are in growth process. For the most part, I’m VERY happy with this app! Get this app: Minimal participation is totally allowed!
  • Reply to Stranger Danger

By Cold MN Chill (Pcmac user)

If you picked up the leftover, packaged decently and from someone’s home, I’d like to think this is a safe situation. Have you ever gone hungry, so your kids could eat. It is an awful feeling! Chances are these people just ate this food! You are right about one thing, I suppose people can do bad things, but signing up for this app, to give or receive, the app has your info. I’d like to think it is safe and people are trying to help others. Go with your gut though! We do live in a complicated world!
