This game is fairly well made. The leveling system feels relatively fair as long as you place your bets properly, and the races are surprisingly fun and require some actual skill. Now, seeing as I'm an old fan of you guys from when you made some of the best racing games on consoles of all time, I have to ask: When are you going to get the complete Blackrock team back together to make a sequel to "Pure" and "Split/Second" (and MAYBE an "ATV Off-road Fury 5"?????)? I know it's been several years since then, but the devotion that the small community you guys created is nothing short of phenomenal! People are still actively playing Split/Second on PSN and on server emulators for PC, and I still see posts about how much people love Pure, even if no one plays game that online anymore. I hope that you can one day get enough money together to continue your awesome talents. I'll be enjoying this game for a while, so I'll keep pitching in! 👍🏻

I think this type of game is very creative and fun instead of buying a car then hoping it wins, you can control your car and also upgrading it makes a difference! Say for instance I have a stable car but the speed is not very good, then upgrades will make a huge difference. Also people have to realize that many people have tried to make this game very entertaining and nicely designed for us. So before you rate this game one star for copying (somehow?) or for some other reason... think about this.
Enjoyable but has issues

There are a lot of accurate reviews describing parts of this game. I went from 5 to 3 stars. Here are my first and a month later review. This game can be addictive in the beginning. Which can be expensive if not careful. I like it better than most of the games I have tried and I still log in often. (Original version) (Revision) After a system upgrade I was force to remove the app from my iPad and retrieve from the cloud. The game still remembered my cars and cash. However I was required to rebuild my cars which depleted my money and gems. And there are still glitches with parts and racing. Now when you race it is very difficult to get ahead with out spending money because of the rapid deterioration of the car parts. For example I played the level D car and could make enough to finally upgrade to a level C car. And before the upgrade the same process to the next level. It was slow but doable. Now at times I only log in to get the free stuff for a few days to build up cash and some car parts. The game is ok and I still play because I started my own team. Most players will quit before they even get to the next level.
Misleading

This is my first review on the App Store. I don't like leaving reviews, but this game pushed too many wrong buttons. I have to let out some steam. Okay, so, I got this game knowing full well that it was Freemium and that some grinding was to be expected. I did not, however, expect to engage in the "EPIC SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN" by first forcibly competing against online opponents in order to acquire credits to advance that single player campaign. Additionally, the online opponents are horribly dirty, putting more focus into pushing you towards traffic than they are racing. This was the main deciding factor in deleting the game. It's a shame, considering the racing itself is really fast paced and the cars look cool as hell. My suggestion? Separate single and multiplayer campaigns, and I'll give this game another shot. Don't make SP rely on MP to advance. Just make MP its own little thing for extra money or whatever, like that other reviewer said.
