  • It’s a game of luck when not paying anything

    By ChapterSevenSeeds (Pcmac user)

The app’s way of making money is a bit ridiculous. The way that it works is unique and fun but here me out. If you get a match, more likely than not it’ll be with a person that won’t send you a message nor reply to your messages. Out of the 20+ matches I have gotten over a few months, two people have responded to my messages. And now the app limits who you match with when using the free version. If you aren’t paying this company money, you’ll seldom get a match that you’ll have power over. And when you do get a match that the app gives you power over, the other person just happens to be someone that never responds! It is ridiculous the amount of time I have spent swiping on this app trying to find some sort of date and the app is too money hungry to let it happen naturally. The worst part is that the app constantly reminds you that there are many people that think you are cute but you have no power over it until you pull out the credit card. I applaud you developers for finding the most asinine way to interfere with potential relationships. I recommend that you shift your revenue focus to advertisements and extra features. Hindering potential relationships only reduces anyone’s chances of seeming the app as a beneficial part of their life as it did with me. Well done and never will I recommend this app to anyone else. Amen.
  • Like to NCMO?

    By Bagpipe player (Pcmac user)

If you’re looking for a NCMO this is the app for you. Everyone I know who has used the app usually makes out with someone and never hears from them again. Pretty low. If you do happen to match with someone you probably will be ghosted. This app is basically window shopping for someone you’ll probably never meet. My advice? Get out there with friends and date your friends, date people you know and trust. Don’t waste your time with a discount tinder app. This is just my opinion so take it for what you will. The app itself is buggy, it rarely notifies me when all notifications are on. Messages don’t always send, and there is no way of knowing if it was sent. Usually I don’t get notified when I match or get a message. Also sometimes I get guy profiles in my feed which is weird cause Its random. I’ll have 5 girls and then a random dude... weird. So what’s the point? Not a great app. I appreciate the idea but seriously just to ask out a girl you like, put on your big boy pants and just do it. Girls, if you like a guy but he hasn’t made a move, make a move! Guys are dumb and don’t pick up on hints easily so just go for it! It’s 2019 dating doesn’t have to be one sided. Plus I wouldn’t want to tell my parents I met my spouse on a dating app.. not very romantic lol
  • Frustrated but thankful for the idea and reason behind Mutual

    By Hol-Hol (Pcmac user)

I’m both grateful and frustrated with this app. Grateful because this gives me an additional way to meet guys, something that’s difficult to do unless you know the right places to go. Frustrated because I think there needs to be more free filters. I think height preferences should be a thing. I think certain tag preferences could also be a thing. Say, for instance, if a guy has tagged himself as a returned missionary and that’s something that’s important to a girl then she would be able to find only the guys that have tagged themselves as a returned missionary, possibly among other tag preferences. Another preference idea could be a culture/race/language preference. Many guys complain that this app has got their age wrong too and that the app won’t let them see who they’ve matched with or messages they might have received. In addition to these frustrations, I’ve noticed that there’s a handful of guys that keep resurfacing even after I’ve swiped down on them at least a dozen times. I don’t need to see them over and over again. It’s not necessary and is a waste of my time.
  • Not working out for me

    By M3gaMan1080 (Pcmac user)

It’s definitely a me problem, but the app functions well. Tech support is friendly and helpful. The app was deleting my info and I contacted the support team. They helped me work out the kinks. Now everything seems to be running smoothly. The only reason I’m rating it at 4 stars instead of 5 is because it seems like not many people are using this app which is not helpful for as an introvert. It’s possible to get to the end of the list and be given the option to start over from the beginning. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s anything the developer can do to bend people’s will to use the app. That being said, I do still think this app is good. The tag feature is useful because you can’t write a whole lot in the about me section, which is probably a very on purpose kind of thing to help people get to the point of who they are as a person. If you can’t tell I’m one to ramble a bit.
