Not made for the desert.

The app is cute and easy to use for a child. You can either use your current location or enter a zip code. However, living in Arizona where it regularly gets over 100 degrees, it just shows "1.." for the temperature and not the actual temperature. Hopefully, that can be fixed because otherwise it is a good app and would get 5 stars.

This is a delightfully cute complement to the the app book series. The usually impossible task of picking an outfit in the morning has turned into a game the night before thanks to the 5-day "Frogcast." The memory game is another favorite -- gradually increasing the number of cards was a clever choice that helps build confidence before the more difficult later rounds.

Not only do children learn more about weather in a fun and engaging way, but the current and forecast weather for YOUR location makes everyone a Frogcaster, just like the app!
