  • Awesome with tiny problems

    By MatRod2020 (Pcmac user)

When I started the Warhammer hobby, everyone told me to get this app. It has everything that someone would need to play TTWG. However, one problem I had with it was in the very beginning; it was hard to learn how to work it. However, one could attribute this to the lack of publications owned and lack of knowledge of the game, because once I read the codexes, I understood the game and how to work this app. One more tiny problem I have is the fact that the rosters take so long to load. When you’re in the middle of a game, and you have to edit your list a little because of a small error, you now have to wait 2 minutes while your list loads to be able to use. Not sure how this could be fixed, but it would be nice. In all, I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who plays TTWG and needs something to make their lists. Great work!
  • Excellent app. New and improved as of the last update.

    By Mickylovin (Pcmac user)

The app is my favorite list building app to date and has a relatively easy interface that logically progresses. As an engine it is as of the new update, faster than before, operates smoothly, and the databases allow it to be modular with the different gaming systems, while at the same time allowing you to only have to update if the app or your gaming system updates. The databases themselves update usually within a week of any official changes and you should keep in mind that they are all created by 3rd parties, more or less. The app provides an excellent way to look at unit entries as well, or to compare units on paper. The flaws used to include inconsistencies but the app has about as short a learning curve as I think is possible.
  • Premiere Option For Board Game List Building

    By Train_Get_Robbed (Pcmac user)

This app is the elite standalone choice for list building. It’s the longest serving, last surviving for both popular and niche games alike (such as Fantasy Battles: Ninth Age). Without this app many players would be bumble around in Army Builder, or other editable templates that are unintuitive to use. Instead, Army Builder provides regular updates, and takes feedback excellently from it’s consume base, and allows each game that requires an army list to be functionally readable, concise, and easy to use. Additionally, while Army Builder can be purchased to allow for more functionality for the user through U/I abilities, and other customizable edits, it still offer its free version when other list builders on the market still charge -even for games they no longer support. It’s ludicrous to think that someone would choose another app over this app when your list files can be saved a myriad of ways, emailed to addresses, shared, and provide a simple, easy to use layout coupled with a quick menus. There’s nothing better in the current miniatures market. this app is elite. Just get it and don’t look back (even if it’s the free version).
  • Amazing work, but printer formatting options?

    By TheHumanDortch (Pcmac user)

I’ve used and loved this app for a long time now on multiple platforms. It’s amazing for list building in almost any game, but my experience is mostly in Warhammer games (AoS, 40K, kill team, etc.) Pros are it’s exceptionally easy to use and almost always up to date. Making lists is easy even on the fly and I spend more time making theory lists because it’s so easy to slap one together. My biggest gripe with the program is the printing options. The ability to add a page break between rules or units, or even proper spacing would be /insanely/ helpful. I’d also like to see a feature some day where we have access to stratagems or tactics available with the Warhammer factions. Hope my 2 cents contributed to an educated opinion and potentially some developer attention. Happy wargaming!
