Software Features and Description

1. From the home screen of the FreeFlight Mini app, you can easily access your settings for piloting, photos, and the "Parrot Cloud.” You can also customize flight parameters, including: altitude, speed and piloting mode (accelerometer, joypad).

2. *To pilot Parrot Minidrone Jumping Night, Race, or Sumo, you need to download the FreeFlight Jumping app.

3. Download FreeFlight Mini free of charge in order to pilot Parrot Minidrones.

4. List of drones compatible with this application: Parrot Mambo, Parrot Swing, Parrot Minidrones Airborne Night and Cargo, Hydrofoil*, and Rolling Spider.

5. You can also store images from your drone races taken by Parrot Swing in plane mode.

6. The FreeFlight Mini App automatically detects which Parrot Minidrone you are using.

7. When you start piloting, enjoy the optimized display of flight information (flight time and drone battery percentage) on your smartphone.

8. The new Parrot Flypad allows you to pilot your Minidrone with extra-precision and control.

9. *For Hydrofoil: place the Airborne Minidrone into the Hydrofoil structure, select Hydrofoil mode in settings, and start sailing across the water.

10. You can now save and transmit HD video content in real time! To completely immerse yourself in the FPV experience, simply place your iDevice in your Parrot Cockpit Glasses 2.

11. You can customize your Flypad controls to suit your piloting preferences through the use of the FreeFlight Mini app.

Download and install the FreeFlight Mini app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using FreeFlight Mini on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "FreeFlight Mini"
The search will reveal the FreeFlight Mini app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once FreeFlight Mini is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including FreeFlight Mini.
Now enjoy FreeFlight Mini on PC.

To get FreeFlight Mini on Windows 11, check if there's a native FreeFlight Mini Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing FreeFlight Mini:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "FreeFlight Mini" » Click "Install" to install FreeFlight Mini
- FreeFlight Mini will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Great product BAD Service.

The drone app works great for the most part. I have been trying to communicate with the company about some of the details that need to worked out. This is not easy. I email them they respond with an email that says call please. I finally get the to communicate through email and the don't read them. They just send canned responses that guess what the email is about based on a few of the words in the email. I need to be able to rotate the phone when it's mounted to the flypad. The camera orientation is to close to my hand and I want to use third party lens when recording. This app could easily be a five star if they just had better service.

I don't use the phone as a controller, but it's really useful for stats and stuff and showing how much battery life is left so you know when to land. I have the Parrot Swing, and it's an amazing drone for the price. The only problem I have with the app is that when I try to transfer pictures from my the drone to my phone, the app crashes every time, so I'll take away a star for that. I guess it's not that big of a deal, but it would be nice if it worked.
Drone flying

I was flying my Rolling Spider and I did a flip. After this, my drone went out of control and the app was completely unresponsive. The emergency button didn't work either so I couldn't do anything about it. I just waited until it crash landed and luckily I found it. If you could fix this problem, thank you.
Absolutely atrocious..

It was terrible. So I charge my drone 2 hours, 9 minuet fly time, (bad flight time) and I expected to be able to see myself flying with the camera on my phone like it says. But NO! It said to update and keep your phone on for bluetooth, so it can update. I finished the update. DRAINED ALL NINE MINUTES OF IT BEING CHARGED. And then another update needed, again?! Now I need to recharge the drone again for another 2 hours, and do another 30 minuet update! This is outrageous.. very disappointed with Parrot.
