What is Hey Duggee?
The "Hey Duggee: We Love Animals" app is an interactive and educational game for children. The app features Duggee, who is awarding the We Love Animals Badge to the players. The game is designed to teach children how to look after animals and encourages exploratory and open-ended gameplay. The app has won the 2017 Children's BAFTA for best Interactive and is safe and ad-free for children.

- Five locations to visit: a park, some woods, the beach, the snow, and a field.
- Nine animals to collect: penguin, monkey, hedgehog, chicken, cat, frog, bird, rabbit, and mouse.
- Step by step guide on how to care for the animals.
- Players learn to spot what an animal needs to keep it happy: Food, water, exercise, a wash, and sometimes a bandage.
- Correctly playing the mini-games gives the animal what they need and earns the player their We Love Animals Badge.
- Feeding mini-game: Players have to feed the animals the correct food from the conveyor belt.
- Drinking mini-game: Players have to connect the pipes to the water fountain to give the animals water.
- Washing mini-game: Players have to clean the animals by getting rid of the leaves, covering them in soap, and popping the soapy bubbles.
- Exercising mini-game: Players have to help the animals skip to keep them fit and healthy.
- Caring mini-game: Players have to put bandages in the right places to help the injured animals.
- The app asks for permission to access the camera on the device to take a photograph of the player for their user profile, which is used to track and retain progress through the game.
