The only one I’ve found that works.

I tried seven or eight of them, all claiming to block in app ads. I thought this was crap, but decided to try the upgrade, so I paid for the upgrade and it DOES work. I realize you get what you pay for in this world. None of the other apps did what they claimed and I didn’t even bother to give them a crappy review. I paid for the app with the black icon and orange writing which claimed to block the ads, it’s crap. This one actually works in Safari for free, and in-app ads if you purchase the upgrade. Don’t even bother with any of the others, they’re all crap. This is easy to set up as well. I’d give more stars if they had them.
80-90 % ads are gone

Been using it for a couple of months and really like it, what a relief to see only relevant content and not ads. There is a bug though because once in a while the app ad blocker turns itself off , I notice when more ads start appearing again. So I simply turn it back on every two days or so. Otherwise simple and effective app. Recommend!
Functional but...

This app blocks safari ads for free but if you want to block ads in apps you have to pay $1.99. I reluctantly did so. All of the ads from safari and my apps seem to have disappeared except for two: pinterest and tumblr. Block ads on these two apps and consider making payments on a donation-based or pay-what-you-want model and you'll get 5 stars from me. Seriously i've never had to pay for an the app. Misleading since this app is free so what can I say

Just downloaded this app, and its pretty good on blocking ads. I didn’t have to do anything to turn on Safari as blocking, but it seems you need the premium version to block ads on apps. That really doesn’t matter as much; I was just trying to find one for Safari. I went to some pretty ad-infested sites, and none of them showed ads.
