5. SHAKE TO SAVE: Manually mark your location by shaking up your iPhone/iPod in Altimeter GPS.

6. MARK LOCATION: Save a location and track back to that location using RADAR, AUGMENTED REALITY and MAP DIRECTIONS.

7. Altimeter GPS is an essential app for outdoor activity enthusiast like Hiking, Trekking, Mountain Biking, Skiing, Rock Climbing as well as the urbane on a day-to-day basis.

8. MARKED LOCATION TIMER: Set timer alert and get push notification after the timeout.

9. GET COORDINATES: Now you can copy your current coordinates and your marked coordinates using Get Coordinates section in “MAP SETTINGS”.

10. PHOTO AND NOTES: Take a picture along with written notes of your marked location and save it.

Download and install the My Altitude: GPS Altimeter app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using My Altitude on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "My Altitude"
The search will reveal the My Altitude: GPS Altimeter app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once My Altitude is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including My Altitude.
Now enjoy My Altitude on PC.

Using My Altitude on Mac OS:

How to download and use My Altitude App on Windows 11

To get My Altitude on Windows 11, check if there's a native My Altitude Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing My Altitude:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "My Altitude" » Click "Install" to install My Altitude: GPS Altimeter
- My Altitude: GPS Altimeter will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Great app!

The developer is brilliant! I was lucky enough to read about this app and downloaded it for free during a promotion. I fell in love with it in the first five minutes! So many functions in an easy to use app, with a simple and clean layout. And it really does interface with Fitbit, seamlessly. I am thrilled to finally have an app that will give me all the functions I need and want when hiking, including a safety button that will give the app lat/long. I’ll say this - the pro features are worth the minor cost - it was not a disappointment like so many other apps can be when you ‘upgrade’ - go for it!

I have compared this app to others like it and “Altimeter” outshines.😉 By far outshines all similar apps. To be completely honest it did take getting through some frustration downloading the free upgrades (having to purchase each one separately and crashing each time you do so )but with its simplicity in style and functionality that magically looks and feels like anything but, you will bathe in all the satisfaction that is “Altimeter “ when all is said and done.

App offers a lot in free version. Very clean and easy to understand. Free version comes with commercials and non-hassle option to go pro. Like I said, free is good on its own. the app only dislike is that there is no Buy All Upgrades at cheaper rate. Each section is treated somewhat separate with own options to upgrade for .99 cent. Could be wrong. Did quick overview. In short: clean, easy on eyes, easy to navigate, good apps & seems stable. Just needs option to purchase all upgrades at once with bulk price.

Awesome app- we have some work to do to perfect the consistency of user friendly operations. I have read the reviews and they have covered it all so I will not repeat them. The app shows great intentions and that said I give you a five star in order for you receive credit when credit is due.
