Way too many ads

I know ads are necessary to keep the game free, but this app has WAY too many. Every time I draw, I have to sit through an ad. I’ve never seen another app that has as many ads as this one does, and the vast majority of them are VERY long for what they are. I’m talking at least 30 full seconds each. I also don’t like that it doesn’t come with instructions on how to play. I downloaded this app as a newbie after only ever having played traditional solitaire, expecting to be given some kind of a tutorial or instructions on the rules and how to play. But nope, it just throws you right in assuming you already know. I had to do a google search just to figure out how to play. What game doesn’t come with at least some kind of tutorial?! I can overlook this now that I know how to play after having some practice, but the excessive and lengthy ads are a dealbreaker. Looks like I’m going to have to nix this app in favor of a different one that won’t constantly interrupt my game and force me to watch a 30 second ad I can’t skip.

I have enjoyed this version of the app very much. I like that the cards that can potentially be moved are highlighted, while the others are darkened. My only gripe (and it’s minor) is that it is hard to see the “hints.” I like that it will say “1 of 4,” but the cards do not highlight enough, or long enough, to see what’s being hinted at. The sound effects are not overwhelming, and are appropriate for the events for which they reflect. This game is a winner, as far as I’m concerned!
An ad that occasionally lets you play a game

Deleted after a few games because I like to actually play the game, but the developer in this case clearly sees the game as an interruption to a stream of 90-second (no exaggeration) ads for other games. Regarding the little bit of game play I got to experience: On an iPhone X it is borderline unplayable. Get our your pencil sharpener for your fingertips as you try to manipulate UI elements that are really too small. A landscape orientation would potentially help, but putting that many columns of cards across a portrait-oriented phone screen really doesn’t work and I constantly made wrong moves because I couldn’t select the right card. If you can solve that, the gameplay is basic and gets the job done, but you can find better implementations.
Great Spider Solitaire- best I’ve used

I like solitaire, and will play different versions. This is the best the app Solitaire I’ve found. The ads are hard to silence at times. It’s a free app so I expect ads- they should have easier volume off in the advertisements. It’s a 4 star rating because of the ad volume and a strange glitch I’ve found 3 times now. I’ve gotten to the auto-finish end with full sets not present (for example, a rogue 2 of hearts instead of the remaining diamond run). If there was a “report” function or message function to developers, I wouldn’t have deducted the star.
