A great game... but with a broken hero token system.

For what I have experienced in gameplay, I found this game to be to my liking. When I played for the weeks after launch I didn’t find anything too wrong about the game, and continued to have fun with it. When I decided one day to crunch some numbers and found out that the gem-hero token shop and whole system is broken. I first started out with the X2 token mission purchase number crunching where I converted the number of tokens that are given for each node using the token shops rate of 20gems/token. This is when I found that the 10 tokens purchase for 150 gems was cheaper than the 30 tokens for 600 gems, which in brevity baffled me. Then I continued with my calculations and found that it was equivalent to over 300,000 gems if the rate of the 30 token purchase in the store was used. To give you a better understanding, that is about $2,783 if you bought it in the gems store! The conversion of gems-tokens needs to be fixed, the conversion of real-world money to gems is terrible at the moment. Enough said.

I’d be hard pressed to recommend this game to anybody who isn’t a huge the app Slug fan... I feel like it’s almost a requirement. The gameplay is perfectly designed for the sort of person that uses mobile games as a time killer - so if you’re looking for a deep/immersive experience- then this isn’t for you. But if you’re just looking for something to interact with for a few minutes a day, you love or have a working knowledge of one of SNKs most memorable franchises, then you should download this right now. Additionally this game’s extremely fair to the casual player. If you want better stuff you can pony up a few bucks, but in-game purchases are NOT required to enjoy which is awesome. So if like me you’re a fan of the series and wonder if this is worth your time - answer is a resounding yes’
Love this game , needs some changes

This game is awesome , been playing since its launch date and I can’t get enough . I do feel like there needs to be a few changes . War books are tricky and are at an uneven number of 115 , you guys should make it 130 to give us a chance to equip more books . Another thing that could be done is adding the option to have Sets of equipped soldiers , meaning I can make three different groups of characters and be able to switch between the three whenever I want instead of having to press deploy , etc . Overall great game !!!
Semi-Idle, with interact mechanics

Not an idle game in a traditional sense. If all you did was check in once in a while you’d miss out on a lot of stuff. Probably requires you to check in 4-6 times a day if you wanted to be perfect, but more so, you’ll need to spend a couple hours a day probably actually playing the game. If you’re pure idle, you’ll progress a thousand times slower than those who actually spend the hours in the game. But if you’re into an idle game with a reasonable grind, with P2W mechanics that aren’t as overbearing, then this is for you. PvP, regular climbing stages mode, vehicle scenarios, character scenarios, with tons of customizability to each persons build. This is a gacha game, but on fairly even terms unless you whale. But even then, other than PvP there isn’t many reasons to do so other than to progress faster. Everything is attainable at a reasonable rate for F2P. -1 star because the speed of play can make the game stagnant and dull. And forcing people to watch an add for 20 mins of double speed when normal speed is like slo motion is too much. And also, this game offers NO TUTORIAL. It does, but so much of the game is intricate, and it doesn’t give any information on any of the modes other than basic play.
