Works well

The app seems to work well so far. Only issue is the app struggles with variable bit rate mps files. It only shows 0 to 23 seconds of the song at a time and is pretty much impossible to select a phrase from variable bit MP3 song. I was able to the app down an speed up but unable to choose a phrase to loop over. So works well with fixed bit rate but not variable bit rate encoded MP3 files.
Worth every penny - almost perfect!

As with other reviewers, I own a Tascam CD-GT1 practice tool and it is still one of the most useful pieces of gear I've ever used. A couple of days ago it occurred to me that an iPhone app might exist with similar functionality. Turns out there are a couple of them out there, but I believe this one is the best available thus far. The ability to create and save many phrases within a song is brilliant - no more resetting loop start & end points as you work on different sections of a song. The WiFi upload is flawless. My only complaint echoes other reviewers' comments that frequently used buttons could be larger to improve ease of use. A landscape layout might have helped in that regard. I have also occasionally experienced audio dropout during looping, but this is quickly rectified by pausing and restarting playback. I would also like the ability to make fine adjustments to the start and end points of phrases while audio is audibly scrubbed, but I don't know if the iPhone has enough processing speed or horsepower to enable this. In all, this is an incredible value and I am thrilled with this app. Most reviewers complain about high prices - I would have gladly paid double the price for this app! I look forward to updates that address users' comments.

If your trying to learn intros or solo’s or just a section of a song that’s hard to hear this is the tool for you. I’ve used it for about 10 years on both iPhone and iPad with any issues or complaints.
