Download and install the Pro-Knot app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Pro-Knot on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Pro-Knot"
The search will reveal the Pro-Knot app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Pro-Knot is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Pro-Knot.
Now enjoy Pro-Knot on PC.

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Awesome offline reference for knots of all kinds

I’ve been a happy user of this app for many years, ever since I bought a new tent and needed to learn how to tie my own adjustable guy lines without needing extra doo-dads. Enter the bowline and the tautline hitch. When the app stopped working with iOS 13, I reached out and got a quick response from John that he’d look into it, and lo and behold, the latest update released today resolves the issue. My guy lines have held up to strong winds, thanks to this app’s clear transmission of knot wisdom. Fishing knots have proven useful, as have a number of others. I find myself swiping through new knots, thinking up ways to apply them in my daily life, or imagining new activities in which I might be able to use them. And nothing beats having an offline reference when cell service is spotty and you find that you need a knot you didn’t know you needed. Thanks, John.

If I could only choose one knot app, this would be the one. It has clear, concise illustrations and instructions. The developer has a set of water-proof cards that I have had for years. I recommend that, too. The animation feature is well worth the price. 5 stars ★★★★★
Very useful app

I find myself going to this app often as fishing conditions change and a go to knot simply will not do. I can quickly search by the type of knot for a particular job and get step by step instructions on how its tied.
