Needs more frequent push update

I have found, similar to other reviews, that the temperature badge is usually 2-3 degrees off compared to other this app apps or Internet sites. I think this is mostly due to the fact that the push updates are too infrequent and thus there is a lag in the badge showing the correct temperature. I don't know what the update interval is, but clearly it is too infrequent to represent accurate temperatures.
Info does not correlate with home thermometers

After two weeks of use I find that my home thermometer is a better indicator of outside temperature. The app is always 2 to 5 degrees warmer than my actual location in Venice, CA.
Great idea. Poor execution.

The temp bug on the icon is a great idea, but it never refreshes. I took this app off my phone for a year, but reloaded it with my iPhone 5S. It's going away again. If the push notifications changed the temp bug more than once a day (preferably if interval adjustable by me) it would be a great app.
Helps me plan.
