Download and install the MusicID app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using MusicID on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MusicID"
- The search will reveal the MusicID app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once MusicID is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MusicID.
- Now enjoy MusicID on PC.
- Using MusicID on Mac OS:

To get MusicID on Windows 11, check if there's a native MusicID Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing MusicID:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "MusicID" » Click "Install" to install MusicID
- MusicID will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Paying customers ripped off!!!

When this app came out a long time ago you had to pay for it. Which I did. It WAS a great app. But then the developer changed everything. This app used to be called “Music ID With Lyrics” and you had to pay for it. This app. Used to offer you lyrics to most songs. Now it is free and is not as good and no longer offers lyrics at all. The developer it seems has taken the paying customers for a ride. Took our money, took our app, and offered us a free piece of crap. To the developer: I do not know what is going on but please bring back the great app you once offered your paying customers. It’s like you have abandoned us. If you care at all please bring it back. It can’t be that hard to do.

Old version does not work

I had not used this app in a while and when I needed to use it I found it did not work. I searched for an app to replace it and found a newer version of the same app. I don’t know why it just didn’t update the old one but the new version works very well just like the old one did although a little different but I don’t mind. It’s still simple for me and does everything I need it to do. I’m using the iPhone XR if that makes a difference.

I used to love this App

This has been the App that I swore by when it came to me identifying music. This App even kept a running tab of my history. Then it just slowed down, taking too long to identify the song & eventually stopped responding & would not even pick up any songs; instead just listen continuously. I hoped that the creators would get enough complaints to just fix the app, but it has been more than 2 months now.

What happened?

This app has been sent off to the island of deserted apps. No updates in over a year. No support for the new family of iPhone X devices.
Seems like with a little maintenance this app could be great again.
Although outdated, still works some of the time.
