- The app offers a new feature of voice playback. Users can play synthesized voice by selecting the speaker icon for the entry or by specifying the range for the English part in the search results. Note that the app uses the OS's function for synthesized voice, which may differ from the correct pronunciation.
- The app is now compatible with iPad and supports "Slide Over" and "Split View" modes, allowing users to look up meanings while reading English websites or e-books.
- The app provides incremental search suggestions, making it easier for users to find the desired entry quickly.
- The free version of the app allows users to search for the latest "Eijiro" data, which is updated approximately every two months on the server side, eliminating the need for version upgrades to use the latest data.
- The paid "Pro version" offers additional features such as no ads, a vocabulary list that can store up to 20,000 entries, over one million example sentences (with 5,000 or more added every two months), search history of up to 50 entries, and data sharing with PC browsers for vocabulary lists and search history.
