1. SendLocation is small utility for those who need an application that sends your location to your own server and script.

2. However when SendLocation is closed or in background it detects only "significant" location changes (a new feature in iOS 4).

3. Speed is your current speed in meters per second (calculated by GPS points) and heading is the course youre travelling towards (also calculated from GPS).

4. The application doesn't even need to be open to get location updates.

5. It's dead simple: just provide the server and script and this app will do the rest.

6. Notice: when this app is at foreground it can send your location in 5 second intervals.

Download and install the SendLocation app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using SendLocation on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SendLocation"
The search will reveal the SendLocation app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once SendLocation is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SendLocation.

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing SendLocation:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "SendLocation" » Click "Install" to install SendLocation
- SendLocation will now be available on your windows start-menu.

This is something I was planning on writing, but I found it! Great application for tracking your phone's location on your own server. Possible improvements: - Include a list of parameters that you can send and enable them using a check list ( so you can enable/disable things such as time stamps, a cellphone identifier string, the heading/speed calculation if they are not of use ) - It runs when phone is in your pocket, but the application needs to be in foreground. I haven't managed to keep it updating when using other applications. - Font size seems to big for the screen. Those of us on te west/south may have visualization problems due to the minus sign. Thanks for this application. Very nice.

Good concept, but doesn't seem to be working. I should have looked at the last update time for this app. iPhone 6 iOS 10 not working
