You won't be disappointed

I got this app for my six year old because she loves to read and has been doing so for a while now. The other book apps are not geared towards children so even though they had children's books available they would not hold her interest. This app is fun and makes her giggle and that makes me giggle. We also travel a lot so its good for the plane because we can get all the books we want loaded on it and it doesn't put us over our carry on limit. The app is free and they also have a few free books so try it and see what you think.
Great if you need to entertain kids for a little while

Downloaded this app a while ago to help keep my young cousins entertained while babysitting. Think of it as iBooks for little kids-all of the books in are one place after you open the app and they all download into a visible shelf library so you aren't messing around on your iPhone to find a particular story. I downloaded Momotaro for my cousins since part of the price goes to Japan. It was a cute story, even the music drove me a little bonkers. I wished there was a way to tell which part of the graphics in the story were interactive; I just had my cousins poke around the entire screen until all animations were exhausted.

Disappointed!

As everyone else did, we downloaded this for our kids. Obviously, we were caught off guard by the amount of each in app purchase. It's a bit excessive for the "lower priced" ones, but completely ridiculous for the rest of them. Maybe it wouldn't seem like such a rip off if you were upfront about the cost, like just have an "all inclusive" buy option, without the shady type business.
