  • Worth it if you do the work

    By JaeMerf (Pcmac user)

Eating disorders are really emotionally charged and are hard to work on because for many it’s a coping skill of dealing with other emotionally difficult life experiences. This app was recommended to me by an eating disorder center/clinic and it’s really in depth and if you actually follow through and do the thought diary you provide insight to your recovery process once you are able to review the past days, weeks, months, years, and you’re able to understand the triggers of what’s going on in your life that has lead you to binges (in my case) or other symptoms that better explain your struggle. You have to want to do the work, if it becomes a chore and you’re getting annoyed with it then it’s going to be a rough road from my experience as if it’s a chore for Me then I’m not 100% in it or am on that path towards recovery. Turned out to be more motivational I guess but it’s a great app and it’s FREE!!!!! Do the work and have the appropriate support necessary for your recovery and it will make a difference for you, I hope!
  • A life App is here!

    By Keithrube1 (Pcmac user)

I never learned how to properly eat and as an adult at age 51 it was time. What I was eating and not eating had taken it’s toll on my health. I learned through the words of a top notch a dietician that I have “disordered eating.” Essentially I have a diet mentality with all that I ate or restricted. These sessions with my Dietician are incredibly eye opening. I gained enough weight for diabetes type 2, neuropathy, horrific IBS, and a completely broken view of food. One of the most important tools that I was given the choice to use was this amazing app. I’m a huge procrastinator (except for my business).. especially when it’s anything to do with being healthy. Until now! This app is simple, fun, thought provoking, wise, motivational and challenging all in one. It’s helping this food junkie completely change what, how and when I eat. It’s not restrictive and not a diet app. It’s a life app that is teaching me much more on a daily basis. This is unlike any app I have ever used. 5 stars and my highest possible rating for ease of use, reliability, and beauty.
  • Great tool

    By Smskcs (Pcmac user)

Using this app has really been extremely helpful. I love how I can record my feelings, thoughts, daily. This really helps me get inside my thoughts, why, how, what to do etc. I get a clearer picture of what's troubling me...I can log my meals, set goals for the week, read inspiring messages daily, I can access my logs to review how the week has gone ...I can use a coping skills at each meal. So many to choose from. You can set a passcode as well. I used to journal and was always afraid someone would read it. Problem solved. I can journal my thoughts each day here. As a compulsive overeater and binger, this has helped keep me more on track. A lot of my problems are in my head. Getting in touch with my feelings and allowing myself to feel my feelings instead of overeating because of them is BIG for me.
  • A little frustrating

    By Foxii (Pcmac user)

I started using the app not too long ago and I really liked it especially like the first week or so. I had some time off work and figured it was a good opportunity to try to help myself since I have a weird work schedule and sometimes that makes remembering to eat, let alone having the motivation to eat, difficult. What I found though was when I went back to work my meal reminders kept creeping up earlier and earlier and now my breakfast notification that I set for 6:30 literally pops up at 4:30 in the morning which is basically the busiest part of my morning. That’s not the only notification that does that either. Basically every notification that I set around my work schedule goes off at the most inconvenient times. It’s just super frustrating because I did set them for when I should be eating. It’s such a small thing but it really discouraged me from using the app and it doesn’t really help if I’m trying to get myself to remember to eat in the first place
