What is Flyskyhy? Flyskyhy is a flight instrument app that provides all the necessary information during flight, including altitude, climb rate, ground speed, and glide angle. It also calculates wind direction and strength, displays a moving and rotating map of the flying area, and shows the nearest landing spots. The app can be used for paragliding, hang gliding, and other air sports. It also has features for post-flight analysis, including a full logbook of flights, flight data, and the ability to upload flights to various servers.

Software Features and Description

1. Besides normal data like start and landing positions, duration of flight, and an altitude graph of the flight, Flyskyhy also calculates the scoring distances for you.

2. The map also shows the nearest known landing spots, and whether they are reachable by normal glide, given your current altitude and wind direction.

3. A moving and rotating map shows your current flying position and flight trail.

4. Flyskyhy forms your flight instrument during flight and shows all information you need for that.

5. Integration with Bluetooth varios SensBox, FlyNet, GoFly iPico, XC-Tracer, BlueFlyVario, or SkyDrop gives accurate altitude and lift information.

6. Your live location is reported on livetrack24.com or loctome.com if you desire, so anybody can follow your flight while it is happening.

7. You get the normal data like altitude, climb rate, ground speed, and glide angle.

8. But it also calculates and shows the current wind direction and strength, very important for your safety.

9. If you are flying together with friends, then their location is shown on your map during your flight.

10. The app makes a full log of your flight, that can be analyzed afterwards.

11. The flight display has multiple screens which are all fully configurable.

Download and install the Flyskyhy app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing Flyskyhy:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.

- Sometimes fails to record all flights, especially for PPG flyers on multiple hops

- Does not always recognize touch and goes

- Has some quirks and issues, such as wind force being way off after the latest update

Great App! Please improve auto starts and stops

Love this app when it works but as a PPG flyer sometimes on multiple hops it doesn’t record all flights. Today I had 3 full stops but only one recorded. It would be great to recognize touch and goes as well. It doesn’t always fail to record. Thanks for creating this app.
Fantastic paragliding vario app!

I’ve been using this app as my primary vario for 2 years now. Works great with any iPhone with a barometer, and even better with any paired micro-vario, such as the cheap (but excellent) BlueFly. I use it to log all of my flights automatically, and it well and truly has the capability of replacing expensive dedicated costly varios. The new thermal centering tool in the XC pack is an incredible addition to an already fantastic app!
Wind force

I really enjoy this app. I would recommend it to anyone who uses apple. I have been using for three years or more. I star rating on this app maybe a little harsh at three but the app has it quirks. One after the latest update the wind force is way off!! Not even close. Two the will function on its on as to which screen it will flip to map or graph. Getting the screen to rotate to correct positions can be a frustrating.

I bought this for just the flight track recorder, but then added the thermal centering extension. Works very well! Much easier to get the most from a thermal and stay attached in it. Very pleased with it. Wish I had a bigger phone.
