Select Windows version:
- Windows 7-10

Download and install the Plantifier app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Plantifier on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Plantifier"
- The search will reveal the Plantifier app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Plantifier is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Plantifier.
- Now enjoy Plantifier on PC.
- Using Plantifier on Mac OS:
Install Plantifier on your Mac using the same steps for Windows OS above.

To get Plantifier on Windows 11, check if there's a native Plantifier Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Plantifier:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Plantifier" » Click "Install" to install Plantifier
- Plantifier will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Needs update for phone platform optimization

I love this app, the community has helped me identify so many plants! But the most recent update made it not very compatible for my iPhone, causing half the buttons to not be on the screen, thus my app is stuck in Dutch because I can only select the Netherlands region although I live in the US. Please fix this glitch with another update so that I may enjoy using this app once again! I’d give it 5 stars if this glitch was fixed!

Very helpful if not perfect

I'm not a horticulturalist, just a garden-variety plant lover, and this app is fun. I saw an unusual tree/bush on my walk that looked a little like a dogwood but not quite. It got identified quickly as a dogwood. Good enough for me.

Wrong aspect ratio for iPhone

I love this app. HOWEVER, now I can only select Netherlands in language and take picture, rather than English and choose from Album, because the display is completely off for iPhone.
Can someone help to update the app?
