Download and install the Okta Mobile app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Okta on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Okta"
- The search will reveal the Okta Mobile app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Okta is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Okta.
- Now enjoy Okta on PC.
- Using Okta on Mac OS:
Install Okta Mobile on your Mac using the same steps for Windows OS above.
How to download and use Okta App on Windows 11
To get Okta on Windows 11, check if there's a native Okta Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Okta:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Okta" » Click "Install" to install Okta Mobile
- Okta Mobile will now be available on your windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:
- Provides access to applications on-the-go
- OKTA team is responsive and resolves issues quickly
☹ Cons:
- App repeatedly closes and opens when accessing applications
- Unable to respond to emails through the app after the new update
- Cannot create tabs or reorder tiles from the app
- No option to sort apps by most recently used or alphabetically
- App needs a favorites page to easily access frequently used apps
- Vertical elements take up too much space on the page
- Some apps, like Service Now, are not optimized for mobile use and have missing functions like global search.

Ok app

Update: just like the official response says, you can create tabs and reorder tiles, but only from the web page. Ok, but why not the app? 😢🐼 Also a coworker says that whatever page you have as the first page is where new tiles will show up. 😢🐼🤯
Works for what it’s intended to do, but needs a couple things:
*Sort apps by most recently used. (Maybe my company is an exception with 35 apps)
*Sort apps alphabetically
*Make a favorites page, out of 35 available apps, I use 4 or 5
*Reduce, combine, and/or remove ridiculous vertical elements to give more space to the page. There is a bar that just says the current app name in the middle, yet it takes the whole width of the screen. The bottom bar has a print icon (how many people are printing from this app app?) and a new tab icon. Maybe move that bottom bar to the top, and combine it with the title.

Incompatible apps

Some of the apps especially service now must be optimized to fit for mobile use. It’s the same as opening this app from the mobile browser which is difficult to use with so many missing functions like the global search which is crucial. Please consider this and it will be great to be able to use it in a better view than it actually is and then I would gladly make it a five star. Thank you.

Glitches-FIXED

This is an update to my previous review. The this app team responded immediately and resolved the issue that I was facing with my email app not opening. Kudos to you guys!!!
DISREGARD 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾PREVIOUS REVIEW
When opening the app to access applications inside of it, the app closes and opens repeatedly. It is very nerve wrecking especially when trying to respond or check emails. I hope this is fixed immediately!!!

Can’t respond to email now

I like the app. It gives me access when I’m away from my laptop. But since the new update, now I’m unable to respond to emails through the app. I’ll click on the email in which I can read. But once I try to respond the whole email will erase and I cannot see anything that I’m writing. But other than that, I have had no issues with the app.
