Grabbed my contracts without asking

I downloaded this and used skip verify to avoid giving my phone number but it granted itself - without prompting- access to my contacts which i never agree to. I am surprised apple let them. I immediately rescinded that in settings but there seems no way to use the app without giving them contact information or to delete the contact information they have stored once you have decided this isn’t for you. Most people don’t care about privacy like that but if you do then stay away
Awesome app for connectivity

I’m so glad I have this app— it makes traveling so much more enjoyable to know if I lose signal I won’t be cut off from my travel buddies. I’ve used it at big concerts too, and the fact that I’m messaging while everyone else holds their phones to the sky in vain is a great testimony to the functionality and possibilities of this app and technology. Bravo!
Good concept, some broken features

I have tried this app to message a few users across the office and warehouse. While the app works really well to send messages, sending media begins to bring mixed results. Sending photos cross-platform (to an Android smartphone, for example,) does not work. It also seems that both users need to be in the broadcast feature in order for the iOS user to RECEIVE a photo and, sometimes, 1-on-1 messages from other users. It is also very disappointing to know that once this app isn’t on the foreground, messages cease to be received. It would be nice to have a user-defined amount of time to continue receiving 1-on-1 messages… three minutes sounds reasonable.
Text Spam After Download

Shortly after downloading the app and providing my phone number I received a mass text spam about money installment. My guess is that their phone database has been compromised. Not sure how to remove my phone number from their database now. Beware that you need to provide your phone number when starting the app and who knows what kind of security they have to protect their database and your phone number.
