this app’s strongest attraction is its customizability. It can be tweaked to suit the user’s tastes in look and feel. Because there are several settings, it can take a while to learn the full range, but it is worth taking the time to experiment. I found that going to the app’s website and reading the documentation useful. At the website a pop-up window offers the opportunity to chat in real time with a helper. I chatted with Steven, whose response to my question was prompt, helpful and courteous. The iOS app by itself is very good, but I recommend pairing it with the MacOS counterpart for maximum benefit. My inboxes have a tendency to accumulate more emails than I can easily manage. this app makes sorting messages into folders easy and also allows “snoozing” messages—getting them out of sight for a specified amount of time. Snoozed messages are put into a special folder that can be opened at any time in this app itself or in other mail clients. Alternatively, a message can be instantly transferred to a “To do” folder to be acted upon later, or one of several other temporary folders. There is also a quick-response option to let a sender know with a single tap on an icon that the message has been received and read.
  • Very buggy and slow

    By SlamDunkTheHendersonAccount (Pcmac user)

I use this app for Mac OS and it has greatly improved my productivity there. I was hoping for the same with the iOS app, but it is slow, clunky, buggy and littered with too many options. Keyboard shortcuts are inconsistent in comparison relative to the Mac app. For example, "1" in both applications shows unread messages, great. On the Mac client "0" shows everything, but on the ipad you have to hit "1" again. I specifically bought the ios app to have a consistent experience. I don't want to learn very similar shortcuts, and keep track of which type of device I'm on for some subtle difference. I'd rather them be entirely different as I am less likely to be confused. (Which is why I am back to using the default Mail application.) In any case, I saw the middling reviews for the app and purchased it with some trepidation - but was ultimately sold on how great the desktop app is. Since these pay for apps have no trial period typically, caveat emptor.
  • Premium is worth it

    By pr!nz. (Pcmac user)

Updated review: Since the change of the service from one time purchase to subscription yearly or monthly everything has been just absolutely amazing as a user. The service has improved so much in the short amount of time . You will read many reviews saying that they buy reviews and are going against other companies and are doing shady business. Overall really do not trust the reviews on any application because any developer can purchase fake reviews for whatever they want that’s how the system works. Also many come from those who are still frustrated from the new change and I get it i was in the same boat. ALTHOUGH just try it out for yourself. Pay for a one time subscription or use the trial and cancel it through App Store settings. You will appreciate the features and design of the mail app everything is just seriously wonderful it would be insane of me to not review and let you know. Don’t listen to anyone else not even me if you don’t want to I’m just another review but seriously try it out for yourself then you can decide.
  • The best iOS Mail app

    By MobilizerNZ (Pcmac user)

I have tried them all and I keep reviewing new email apps every few months, but this app is the goto mail app I use every day to maintain a zero inbox. Every email is archived, deleted or snoozed to come back to later. I enjoy the support for multiple accounts and the different options available to visually identify which account each email belongs to. I Iike the fact that each email has a gravatar next to it as this really helps differentiate each email in the list and to locate a specific sender. The swipe features work great. And the ability to track read receipts helps a lot when you want that extra reassurance that somebody read the email. I hate it when other apps miss this feature. And there are so many settings that you can optimise the app to your preference. Keeping a zero inbox by archiving or deleting all emails is a pleasure with this app. As an extra bonus whenever I need support I consistently hear from Steven who is super helpful - thanks Steven, your support provides that extra reassurance that the this app team is active and cares for their users.
